A recent survey of business, leisure and family travelers explored which mobile features travelers want most from hotels. The usual suspects floated to the top, including categories like hours of operation, amenities, activities, and check in/check out features.
Digging in deeper, pollsters asked which factors most influence a choice of hotel. About 70% of those surveyed volunteered that they consider the quality of a hotel’s website and mobile app “moderately or strongly” before selecting a hotel. Family travel planners, in particular, said they consider the quality of a hotel’s website and app to be an important indicator of a hotel’s ability to provide a great travel experience.
