Myrtle Beach, S.C. (June 21, 2022) – The Hangout, an Alabama-based company, has opened a new high-energy restaurant in Myrtle Beach. The 40,000-square-foot interactive dining and entertainment venue is the second Hangout location for the company, with the first located in Gulf Shores, AL. LHWH was given mission-critical marketing responsibilities to help introduce the attraction to a highly competitive market during the height of the tourism season.
Featuring a unique mix of high energy dining, dancing on tables and outdoor live music, The Hangout is unlike any other attraction in the market. Recognizing that video was the only medium that could capture the brand story in a clear and compelling way, the LHWH team created a brand video showcasing The Hangout’s offerings and highlighting its points of difference from other family-friendly restaurants in the area. At the same time, LHWH rolled out an intercept marketing digital media campaign composed of key messaging and imaging creative executions.
“The Hangout was able to take full advantage of the understanding LHWH has of the Myrtle Beach market in a way that helped differentiate it from the enormous number of other restaurants in our area. Building on The Hangout’s success in Gulf Shores, we were successful in generating immediate awareness and enthusiasm for this incredible new venue, said Andy Lesnik, President of LHWH.
