NEW BUSINESS TEAM
Senior Account Director
In 1970, en route to California, Andy arrived in Myrtle Beach via a psychedelically painted VW bus. Something about the area captivated him, and he chose to put down roots instead of continuing his hippie wanderings. Soon after – he shaved and co-founded the award-winning printing company, Sheriar Press, where he discovered a real passion for the creative challenges of marketing. After building an agency of his own, in 1987 Andy joined forces with Paul Himmelsbach, Steve Wilson and Vern Hearl to create LHWH Advertising and Public Relations. Andy’s sharp strategic thinking and strong business acumen have helped LHWH build long lasting relationships with many clients. Outside the office, Andy is an avid tennis player and highly enthusiastic grandfather of Isaiah and Clara whom he unapologetically describes as “the world’s greatest grandchildren.”
Creativity runs in Pat’s blood. His grandfather created the Land O’ Lakes Indian – and as a youngster Pat spent time visiting his uncles’ advertising agency. There, he once witnessed a focus group room full of potato chips waiting to be tested. From that moment on, Pat knew this was the business for him.
Pat brings experience from top markets such as New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Richmond – where he helped to elevate many Fortune 500 brands. He has been voted one of the top 10 Art Directors in the world, and earned recognition with top awards in the Clios, Cannes, One Show, London International Awards, and British Design & Art Direction. Pat’s work is featured in The Museum of Modern Art’s permanent exhibit. A strategic thinker at heart, Pat has been recognized with a medal in the prestigious J. Chiat Planning Awards. More recently, Pat sharpened his pencil deep within the digital and social arena at one of the largest digital agencies in America. As passionate as they come, Pat doesn’t sleep until his clients have the best ideas possible.
Lei came to Myrtle Beach from Washington, D.C., bringing with her 18 years of experience in communications, government relations, strategic planning, and marketing. Since joining LHWH, she has assembled and led a team of PR pros who have staged nationally-covered grand openings and generated ongoing publicity for nearly all the major attractions that opened along the Grand Strand in the last two decades. The team has developed and executed strategic PR campaigns that successfully launched new golf companies; secured prestigious awards for golf courses; introduced and helped sell out real estate communities; built awareness of new medical facilities and treatments; and increased ticket sales at entertainment venues. As co-author of 4 books and numerous published articles, Lei also uses her organizational and writing skills to assist clients as a content developer and blog writer.
An avid golfer, Lei is also a freelance golf writer whose articles have appeared in national and regional publications. She is a member of the Golf Writer’s Association of America and the South Carolina Golf Course Ratings Panel.

Danielle is a live wire. A passionate brand strategist and copywriter, she brings a high voltage personality and original mind to her work. With more than twenty years of agency experience, Danielle navigated a successful escape from Manhattan with a pocketful of shiny awards and a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in NYC.
Before joining LHWH, she lived and breathed national promotional advertising for Verizon Wireless, Coldwell Banker and Sirius. She led the development of creative and UX solutions for some of the best healthcare brands in the business and is at home in both new and old media. From writing professional healthcare campaigns to spearheading apps for consumer brand needs, Danielle helps energize teams to strategize, concept, and create content that connects with—and speaks to—people. A mother of two and a lover of lime Diet Coke, she’s always smiling and enjoys rolling her sleeves up to get ‘er done.
Senior Account Director
After many years of working in outside sales, and then marketing on the client-side of life, Laura joined LHWH in 1999 and moved to the ad agency side of things. Laura is capable of managing multiple complex projects with a strong attention to detail. She has a great sense of people and of how marketing can help achieve business objectives.
“I’ve always said that work is my hobby and I meant it. I enjoy the whole world of marketing and advertising and the continuous learning that takes place within. I’ve jumped into the expanding opportunities of an increasingly digital world . I enjoy building strong relationships with my clients. I feel really great at the end of the day when I know I have performed to the best of my ability and helped a client to be more successful in their business.”
Laura is also a mother and a grandmother, but manages to find time to enjoy some of her other hobbies like trout fishing, camping, and horseback riding in the mountains of North Georgia.
She’s passed on her outstanding interpersonal skills to her five children.
