An app for your phone or tablet is an easy way to connect to all the fun and glamour of the Academy Awards this Sunday while you’re on the go.
ABC has been touting its “WatchABC” app for streaming video of the Oscars, from backstage activities to out front presentations. But if you don’t live in one of the viewing areas where WatchABC’s Oscar coverage will be available through special providers, check out one of our favorites:
“The Oscars” app is the official app of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts And Sciences and will feature streaming video of activities behind the scenes, interviews with the stars, and there’s even a “pick your winners” interactive ballot that connects to Facebook.
E! Entertainment TV’s app, “Live From The Red Carpet,” promises breaking news from the red carpet, as well as celebrity fashion news, photos and a video gallery.
